DMARC relies on both DKIM and SPF. It is widely known that forwarding messages can break SPF. Because DMARC only needs one authentication to pass, as long as DKIM is set up correctly and your mail is not dramatically changed when forwarding, you should not have any concerns with rejected forwarded messages. This is why it is important to have both DKIM and SPF configured correctly and not just configuring one type of authentication.
